Croatia Announces Gross Minimum Wage Increase to €1,130

On 29 October 2026, Prime Minister Andrej Plenković announced a planned increase in Croatia's gross minimum wage from €1,050 to €1,130, an increase of €80, affecting approximately 50,000 workers. The government also indicated that employment-service support would cover the difference for employers who apply during the first three months of 2027. The change creates demand for payroll planning, HR compliance, workforce budgeting and recruitment support, while HPC can assist with labour-market research and HR consultancy; contact HPC for a quotation.
