Kenyan Studio Weza Interactive Entertainment Joins Google’s Indie Games Fund Cohort

On 28 October, Google announced the selected studios for its first Google Play Indie Games Fund Africa cohort, including Kenya’s Weza Interactive Entertainment. The programme provides non-dilutive funding, mentorship and Unity technical support, but the individual grant amount for Weza was not disclosed; the wider fund’s reported award range should not be treated as its confirmed allocation.
