EU Selects Neo Performance Materials for Rare-Earth Magnet Production Funding in Estonia

On 22 October, reporting highlighted European Commission funding for Neo Performance Materials’ planned permanent-magnet production line in Estonia as part of a wider €3.4 billion funding package for 77 net-zero technology projects. The Estonian project is designed to produce up to 3,000 tonnes of permanent magnets annually, supporting critical-material supply chains and clean-energy technology. The €3.4 billion is the total EU-wide package, not Estonia’s individual award.
